Job Summary:

Maintain and organize front office functions such as greeting and communicating patients arrival promptly and manages administrative records and pulling/filing office charts, answering the office phone and distributing calls or messages accordingly among job shift.

  • Greet every patient
  • Unlock doors, open blinds, turn on TV and open sign
  • Refill coffee/tea table
  • Answer phones and direct calls to proper post
  • Confirm appointments 3 days out
  • Pull charts 2 days in advance
  • Check next days charts
  • Run a new patient report at the end of every day
  • Clean and sock bathrooms
  • Ordering online, putting shipments away
  • Sort mail, distribute mail and stamp/send mail
  • Check emails & Dentech Communicator
  • File charts
  • Check voicemail
  • Check patients in
  • Put new patients information in system
  • Print schedules every morning and make rotations
  • Call patients who are more than 10 minutes late
  • Put together new patient charts & registration packets
