Dr. Max Grytzelius
Dr. Max Grytzelius has been a member of Bright Side Dental ever since he began exploring career options in his junior year of high school at Chippewa Valley. His career search was brief, as Dr. Max quickly found Bright Side Dental and the field of dentistry to be a perfect fit for his particular skills and interests. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Bachelors of Biology degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2011, and is presently a partner and dentist with Bright Side Dental. He currently practices out of two locations, St. Clair Shores and Bloomfield Hills. He goes by Dr. Max when in the office to avoid confusion as he also works with his brother, Dr. Derek Grytzelius.
Dr. Derek Grytzelius
Dr. Derek Grytzelius has been a member of the Bright Side Dental team for more than 15 years. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy. Married with two daughters, Dr. Grytzelius enjoys working alongside his brother, Max, who is also a dentist at Bright Side. He also enjoys hockey and spending time outdoors. Dr. Grytzelius takes great interest in learning and implementing new innovations in dentistry in order to provide the most advanced dental care to his patients.
