“In Memory of Dad” read a sign on the back of a walker participating in the Gilda’s Club Family Walk held this past Saturday at Lawrence Tech University. Hundreds of people living with cancer, their families, and Gilda’s Club supporters walked to raise funds for the organization.
We were honored to participate in the vendor fair, providing water and granola bars to the participants. Several people living with cancer and those recently diagnosed picked up literature on dental care during cancer treatment from our booth.
Gilda’s Club is a national non-profit organization that provides social and emotional support for people living with cancer and their families at no cost. Located in 22 cities with 28 clubhouses, Gilda’s Club provides support groups, workshops and events in a homelike setting.
We look forward to continuing to support Gilda’s Club in their efforts.
