What’s the difference between dental bridges vs. dental implants?
Dental bridges place crowns over the teeth that are next to the gap created by a missing tooth or teeth. The crowns help “bridge” the artificial teeth that are adjoined to them to cover the spot of the missing tooth or teeth.
Dental Implants use a titanium post that is placed in the spot of the missing tooth. A crown, bridge or partial denture is then placed over the post, creating the look and feel of a new tooth.
